The most wonderful time of the year {holiday photographer}
I love Christmas! It must have something to do with the fact my daughter is 3 and squeals with delight each evening as the sun goes down and the Chrstmas lights come on. There is something so heartwarming in the simple joy of childhood. I want to make everyday memorable for her and the holiday season is even more special. Creating family traditions and experiences is my number one priority. Since we are members at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens we visited the Christmas lights exhibit and it was amazing!
When photographing Christmas lights at night it is important to increase your ISO this will help the camera take in more light. To avoid shaky photos always set your shutter speed to something above 125 and use a large aperture setting such as 1.8 f or 2.5 f. These settings will help achieve your desired photos.
The theme was H2Whoa and it was everything my daughter wanted and more. With starfish, octopus, fish and other water themed exhibits it was quite the experience. If you haven't been yet, I would definitely recommend it!
